We all have Lie-Abilities

We ALL have lie-abilities as well as liar-billy-tease 🙂 –> cos (one of) the main characteristics of a MAN is his ability to tell a lie – but GOD is NOT a man that He should lie! …

But Pastor said …
BUT MY Pastor said …
No, Our Pastor said …
Actually, Father said …
No way, Revd said …

I Kings 13

The old Prophet heard about the exploits of the man of God from his sons. And he went after the man of God, and when he found him, he said, Come home with me and eat bread. The man of God said, no I will not for it was said to me by the word of God, “thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again…” but the Prophet said, “I am a Prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake to me by the word of the Lord saying, bring him with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. (But he lied to him).

Vs 19 So the man of God went back with him and did eat bread in his house, and drank water… vs 20 and it came to pass as they sat at the table to eat, the word of the Lord came to the prophet that brought him back…thus saith the Lord, forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God giveth thee, but came back and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of which the Lord did say to thee, eat no bread and drink no water, thy carcass shall not come unto the sepulcher of thy fathers.

Vs 23 and it came to pass, after he had eaten bread and after he had drunk, that he saddled the ass for him … vs 24 and when he was gone, a lion met him by the way and slew him; and his carcass was cast in the way …vs 26 and when the prophet who had brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, “it is the man of God who was disobedient unto the word of the Lord”

I have been torn severally between God’s word to Mee and the words of God’s Prophets to Mee; so I can understand this man of God …

HOWEVER, from his experience (and some of mine) I have learnt that to obey GOD is ALWAYS better than sacrifice … and that the costs of obedience (there is always a cost – always a (great) price to pay) … however, the cost (sentiments, public opinion, reputation, fear, cowardice etc) is NOTHING compared to the costs of disobedience.

We all have LIE-abilities and Liarbilities joorrr ….but as my custom (usually) is, the end (motive) justifies the means. God looks at the heart abeeg … (soft landing)

LOL I’m beginning to have a headache ’cos when you fight with your head (who or what is my head anyway?) – a head ache is the usual result!

Anyways, each man will subsequently have to carry his own cross for we shall all give an account of our lives and times to God (including every careless tweet and status update) (Yaaayyyy FATHER PLS help Mee )

    This has blessed me…..deep
“God’s word to Mee and the words of God’s Prophets to Mee”
We all need to learn how to hear God for ourselves and be sure of it. What any prophet says should only confirm what God has already said to us.

Thanks for being a blessind and …… keep it up!
